"Common wall" technically means a single wall built on the property line and shared by two residences. There are no true common walls between the townhomes in Bella Terra – each residence has independent walls that are structurally separated from the neighbors, constructed with a specialized type of sound insulation that provides a very high degree of sound separation.

Quality Design, Materials & Workmanship: All townhomes will have a consistent high level of structural quality with a sophisticated palette of exterior finish materials that compliment the contemporary nature of the design. The interiors are designed to integrate to the garden, with architect-designed details that are typically found only in custom homes including wood windows and the custom finishes of your choice.

Multi-Purpose Terrace: Bella Terra's "Emerson" Townhome has a large terrace integrated into the second-floor living area for spectacular indoor/outdoor living. When combined with the Great Room and kitchen that open onto the terrace, residents will have over 1,000 square feet of entertainment space.

Sustainable & Energy Efficient: The design, construction, and ongoing operation of the Bella Terra development employs environmentally sound practices, with sustainability, ongoing upkeep and the environment in mind. Our homes are very energy efficient, saving money on heating and cooling.

Indoor Air Quality: Our homes will also offer superior indoor air quality:

  • Bella Terra townhomes meet or exceed LEED standards for VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). In fact, the majority of our paint is Zero VOC, with a small amount of low VOC and our carpets are non-toxic.
  • Outside air is brought into the home in a precisely controlled manner

Wired: Bella Terra offers the speed of “Cat 6” cable to all residents for fast internet connections and future technologies. Cat 5e (Cat 5 enhanced) is currently the most commonly used cable in new installations. Category 6 (Cat 6) is a major improvement over Cat 5e, the mostly commonly used cable in new network installations. Upgrading to Cat 6, which is suitable for up to 10 gigabit Ethernet at 250 MHz, helps "future-proof" a cable network, keeping it up to date for longer.

Bella Terra installs “Cat6” cable in most locations, which handles 10 times greater data than Cat5, the mostly commonly used cable in new network installations for offices.

Adaptable to Changing Needs/Aging in Place: Although our townhomes are designed to provide a dynamic, contemporary space for living and entertaining, we have also incorporated design features to accommodate changing life circumstances of homeowners. Ground floor living options are available initially (in the Thoreau and Walden models) or when needed (in the Emerson model)
